The special detail: inside the visible TPU bubble sit EVA beads which, together with the air chamber, provide a springy, lightweight feeling on impact. The construction responds to the foot’s pressure and combines cushioning with pleasantly low weight. The outsole also plays an important role here. The non-slip rubber outsole supports a sure footing on different surfaces.

Wool Dream: When the sole becomes a trampoline

The name Wool Dream fits this model well—because the sole relies on a veritable spring effect.

At its core is a high-quality ETPU foam noted for its high rebound. The construction is designed to return absorbed energy and create a dynamic feeling while walking.

Another special feature is the oval air channels in the sole. They act like small shock absorbers and help to cushion impact forces on hard surfaces. At the same time, the cut-outs reduce the sole’s weight.

The slim air channels also aid the forward transfer of energy, resulting in a light, springy roll-off. Lightness is a priority throughout the rest of the shoe as well. The temperature-regulating Merino jersey, the soft interchangeable Merino insole, and the heel pad complement the sole concept. Merino Jump: Multi-layer cushioning with pump effect

The Merino Jump takes a different approach with its sole. It uses the Alpha-Antishock-Concept. Several cushioning units work together to create a so-called pump effect.

The construction is designed for high rebound and to reduce impact on landing. At the same time, the sole supports a smooth sense of movement. Another component is the midsole made from Super Critical Foam. Thanks to this special foam, the construction can be made particularly light. It is complemented by a non-slip rubber outsole that provides grip on the ground.
