Sustainable shopping: How to start on the green path
We place great importance on environmentally friendly processes right from the moment you place your order online. Our webshop is not only user-friendly, but also designed for efficiency – because every click counts. Thanks to optimised warehouse logistics, your orders are picked quickly and in a resource-efficient manner. This saves energy, packaging material and unnecessary transport.
Our cardboard packaging is also made from recycled material, is plastic-free and recyclable – and that's just the beginning. The entire packaging cycle at GIESSWEIN is designed with the environment in mind: we source our shipping boxes from an Austrian packaging supplier. Your order is shipped in these boxes – and if you return anything, the same box comes back to us. It is then compressed in-house and sent back to the supplier, who uses it to produce new packaging material. This creates a genuine recycling cycle – regional, resource-saving and sustainable.
Short distances, big impact: regional logistics at GIESSWEIN
From our location in Tyrol, we manage all shipping processes directly to your home – centrally, efficiently and with short distances. This not only allows us to save CO₂, but also to shorten delivery times and manage returns more effectively.
Responsible returns
We also keep things green when it comes to returns: every product that is sent back to us is carefully checked, reconditioned and, where possible, returned to the cycle. This allows us to avoid unnecessary waste and consciously extend the life cycle of our products.
Sustainability is not a trend for us, but a promise. From the moment you place your order to the moment it is delivered to your door, we take care to make every step as environmentally friendly as possible. Thanks to our close cooperation with Austrian Post and our clear focus on ecological responsibility, we were able to save over 34,000 kg of CO₂ in 2024 – proof that every contribution counts.
