About Giesswein
In the middle of the Alps
Located in the heart of Europe, next tot he romantic estuary oft he Alpbach valley into the Inn valley and therefore at the crossroads oft two of the oldest pan European trade routes, Brixlegg is the home of Giesswein. Mentioned for the first time in 788 Brixlegg was a blossoming trade centerin the middle ages.
Since then much has changed, but one has thing has not: the closeness to the nature ant the creativity with which Brixlegg set out to conquer the world, visible in the gentle opening to the the tourism industy in accordance to the rich past or through the natural Giesswein fashion, building on old traditions.
